Gallery of 2023 Student Show Paintings

 On Friday May 19, 2023, members the Jacksonville Watercolor Society visited Pine Forest Elementary School to present 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place and honorable mention awards, along with certificates of appreciation to each of the young artists. The Jacksonville Watercolor Society would like to thank all the young artists who participated in our first ever Student On-Line Show and the parents and guardians who assisted with the entries. A big thank you also goes out to Pine Forest School’s art teacher, Ms. Moser, for her efforts in making this show possible. The students’ work is wonderful and the Jacksonville Watercolor Society is very happy to have the opportunity to display their work on our website. We love the watercolor medium and are so glad to see it alive and flourishing in the work of these young people. The award winning paintings were framed and displayed at our JWS Fall Show at Christ Episcopal Church in Ponte Vedra in October.  All entries  show the name of artist and title of painting and their grade at Pine Forest Elementary School for the Arts.   Click on the image for a full view of the painting and scroll through the gallery using right and left arrows.
