2024 Student Show
We received 30 entries from students of Pine Forest Elementary School for the 2024 Student Show sponsored by Jacksonville Watercolor Society. It is always a pleasure to see the talents of these students, and a privilege to display their work here on our site.
Although all the participating students deserve to be awarded for their efforts and their talents, we were tasked with choosing four that would best represent the school. We love the watercolor medium and are so glad to see it alive and flourishing in the work of these young people. Our thanks go out to the parents of these students and to Ms. Moser-McCrimmon, their art teacher for their efforts in making this show a success.

On Friday, May 17, 2024, the Jacksonville Watercolor Society visited Pine Forest Elementary School to present 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place and honorable mention awards, along with certificates of appreciation to each of the young artists. . The award winning paintings will be framed and displayed at our JWS Fall Show at Christ Episcopal Church in Ponte Vedra in October. All entries show the name of artist and title of painting and their grade at Pine Forest Elementary School for the Arts. Gallery of 2023 Student Show Paintings
On Friday May 19, 2023, members the Jacksonville Watercolor Society visited Pine Forest Elementary School to present 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place and honorable mention awards, along with certificates of appreciation to each of the young artists. The Jacksonville Watercolor Society would like to thank all the young artists who participated in our first ever Student On-Line Show and the parents and guardians who assisted with the entries. A big thank you also goes out to Pine Forest School’s art teacher, Ms. Moser, for her efforts in making this show possible. The students’ work is wonderful and the Jacksonville Watercolor Society is very happy to have the opportunity to display their work on our website.
