1. Monthly Meetings
There are eight (8) monthly meetings throughout the year with demonstrations and lectures by renowned national or prominent local artists - providing support and arts education for the beginner to the professional.
Meetings are held at 6:00 p.m. the fourth Tuesday of the month, unless otherwise specified, from September through May (except December). Monthly programs are open to the public.
Our general monthly meetings will be at Cypress Village, 4600 Middleton Park Cir E, Jacksonville, FL 32224 in the Egret Room (in main building near entrance).
Directions: JTB or I90 East toward Beaches and exit at San Pablo. Pass Mayo Clinic, turn left at next traffic light onto WM Davis Parkway. Continue about 1.5 miles to the entrance of Cypress Village. Follow the entrance road to the main building, watching for Special Event signs directing you to visitor parking. Once inside the main entrance, stop at the concierge desk for directions to the Egret Room or proceed to the right pass the dining areas to the Egret Room on the right.
We are grateful to Cypress Village for providing water, tea, coffee, and cookies, as well as the audio visual equipment for programs during the meeting. And the room is setup for us, so we have more time to socialize with fellow artists from JWS and Cypress Village.

3. Outreach Program
Join the JWS volunteers who provide support and education to the community through Outreach Programs. More opportunities are available to help.
Westminster Woods Wednesdays: Members of JWS have been sharing our love of watercolor painting with two groups of Westminster Woods residents on Wednesday mornings from 10 am to 11:30 am. Many in the group are now active members of JWS themselves - and attend meetings and workshops. Outreach volunteers are needed to share their knowledge, talents and ideas in planning and demonstrating and working with others.
Volunteering and sharing our knowledge with others helps reinforce our understanding of art concepts. If you would like to find out more about WWW outreach contact Tuni Weiss, Barbara Holt or Rebecca Mentz.
