JWS purchases books and DVDs and gratefully accepts donations of gently used media to share with members. Check out the inventories for all the new acquisitions!
Due to the size of the inventory, not all DVDs and books will be at the meetings. Let Janet Killackey, our Media Chair, know if you would like her to bring a specific item to the meeting Contact Janet Killackey if you have questions, would like to request a new DVD or book for purchase, or would like to donate to the library. Look for special sales in the future as we make room for new inventory.
Join the JWS volunteers who provide support and education to the community through Outreach Programs. More opportunities are available to help.
Westminster Woods Wednesdays: Members of JWS have been sharing our love of watercolor painting with a group of Westminster Woods residents on Wednesday mornings from 10 am to 11:30 am. Many in the group are now active members of JWS themselves - and attend meetings and workshops. Outreach volunteers are needed to share their knowledge, talents and ideas in planning and demonstrating and working with others.
Volunteering and sharing our knowledge with others helps reinforce our understanding of art concepts. If you would like to find out more about outreach contact Tuni Weiss, Barbara Holt or Rebecca Mentz.
