Media Library

During her many years as librarian, Janet Killackey built a significant media library of DVDs and books by nationally recognized artists. As she steps down,  Barbara Holt is working with Janet to make DVDs available to check out at meetings. Mary Walker volunteered to handle checkouts and returns of DVDs at each meeting.

Books will no longer be available to check out, but will be available for sale at the May Meeting.

Outreach Program

Join the JWS volunteers who provide support and education to the community through Outreach Programs.  More opportunities are available to help.

Westminster Woods Wednesdays: Members of JWS have been sharing our love of watercolor painting with a group of Westminster Woods residents on Wednesday mornings from 10 am to 11:30 am. Many in the group are now active members of JWS themselves - and attend meetings and workshops.  Outreach volunteers are needed to share their knowledge, talents and ideas in planning and demonstrating and working with others.

Volunteering and sharing our knowledge with others helps reinforce our understanding of art concepts.  If you would like to find out more about outreach contact Tuni Weiss, Barbara Holt or Rebecca Mentz.
