SEPTEMBER 26, 2017 -- MIKE GRECIAN  

Back by popular demand, art supply representative and artist, Mike Grecian will demonstrate new art products and share some special items. Mike has a MFA from Northern Illinois University and worked as a freelance artist in the Chicago area creating corporate logo designs, illustrations and commissioned portraits. Mike works now almost exclusively in watercolor and colored pencils and is a member of the Colored Pencil Society of America. He works with a variety of Art Institutes including the Savannah College of Art and Design in Atlanta and Savannah, Georgia.

OCTOBER 24, 2017 -- MARGARET ROSEMAN CSPWC,SCA,TWS

Margaret Roseman is an internationally recognized artist and juror and has an extensive list of awards to her credit. She has been featured in numerous publications and is a signature member of the Toronto watercolour Society and the Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolour and the Society of Canadian Artists. Rich, vibrant colors and decisive brush strokes characterize her paintings, which often celebrate nature’s unfolding energy and renewal as well as the ordinary viewed at a special moment in time. She will do a demonstration and slide show.  She is a popular and highly respected artist and art instructor for workshops throughout Canada, the United States, Mexico, the Caribbean and France and will be the instructor for our 3 day workshop.  www.margaretroseman.com

NOVEMBER 28, 2017 -- JEANNIE BROCKHAUSEN, FWS

Jeannie is a self taught artist and has won awards in JWS, AGOP, and StAAA member shows. In addition, she is a signature member of the FWS and an award winning photographer. Jeannie is a Florida native and has traveled with her husband to many states and to Panama.  She works with pencil, acrylic, sumi, pen and ink and watercolor. 2017 SPRING PROGRAMS

JANUARY 23, 2018----ELIZABETH N LAROWE  

Elizabeth LaRowe’s artwork concentrates on color and light in water media and their spontaneous nature in her own artistic style.  She is experimenting with YUPO and new painting surfaces. Elizabeth holds a BFA degree from the University of Denver and a MAT from the University of Wyoming.  She has participated in and won awards at local, regional, and national juried shows.  Her work was published in Splash 16.

MARCH 6, 2018—DON ANDREWS, AWS

Don Andrews is known for his figure and landscape paintings with glowing granular washes and vibrant light. His paintings have received numerous awards from the American Watercolor Society, and two Best of Show awards from the New England Watercolor Society.  Don is a nationally known watercolor artist, author, and workshop instructor.  He has conducted painting workshops throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, Europe and Africa for over 30 years.  Don is an active member, juror and past board director of the American Watercolor Society.  www.DonAndrewStudio.com    

APRIL 24, 2018—RITA BLUM (AOTY)

Rita Blum was recognized for her contributions to JWS and her artistic talent as 2016 Artist of the Year.  She will share her artwork and do a demonstration.

“Paint Around” and Installation of Officers for 2018-2019 at Cultural Center of Ponte Vedra Beach, 50 Executive Way (off A1A). Share your experiences with fellow artists while we nibble on finger foods and light refreshments brought by members.  Grand finale to a wonderful year – join in the festivities, finger food, and fellowship from 7 to 9 pm .
